In my role payroll and finance assistant I look after the end to end cycle with payroll and our payroll bureau as well as manage supplier payments to keep our relationships with suppliers strong.
Finance are a great team of likeminded individuals and I really enjoy coming to work and spending time with the team. We work well together and are very supportive of each other when we need to problem solve or help one another out.
Due to the nature of my role I am accredited as an associate member of the CIPP. This is important as my role is to ensure that all of our colleagues are paid accurately and on time each month, in addition to our suppliers too. The CIPP accreditation helps me in my role both theoretically and practically to help me achieve our goals within the Finance department.
What do I do outside of work?
Outside of work I volunteer for an animal sanctuary on occasion, and I enjoy spending time with my menagerie of pets and tending to my allotment. Nothing makes me happier though than attending 80’s music festivals at every opportunity, reliving my youth and seeing my teen idols perform!
